The Chamber is looking for support with Marketing Activities for 2025, and would like to invite any interested parties to review the brief below and submit quotes by 5pm Tuesday 17th December. BCTC Marketing Support Activities
Website
- Website maintenance (WordPress site)
- Updating plugins – quarterly as a minimum.
- Creating new pages when required (approx. 5 created in the last 12 months, so very ad hoc)
- Adding Events – Banter once a month, Lunch and Learn bi-monthly, breakfast bi-monthly. Banter image changes every month depending on patron, otherwise all artwork stays the same. Then one-offs such as Xmas, AGM. Many therefore can be duplicated. All managed through Membership Works (accessed through the WordPress site)
- Uploading Press Releases – approx. 1.2 per month from Deep South and occasional one from Dorset Chamber. Plus our own releases, member releases and other ‘local news’ eg funding for new business etc. Currently approx. 5 per month but this is an area that would be good to grow.
- Database (More IT based)
- Managed through Membership Works and Google Workspace. When new member joins CRM system emails info to all Board members.
- CRM also emails Kate re event registrations
- Membership works has a section for adding adding email addresses to receive notifications,
- Google Workspace is where emails and shared drives are. Be in control of adding/removing users in the admin section. This will include forwarding email addresses to distribution lists or individuals. It will also include adding people to distribution lists eg board@ and info@.
- Adding members / renewals
- Graphic Design
- Patron Templates – template is an illustrator (ai file) need to liaise with patron for logo, replace in template, download as a png upload to website footer and place in the letterhead
- Updating icons used for Banter when patron changes.
- Graphic design and print for leaflets, roller banners etc
- Ensure all artworks are saved in the Google Workspace
OTHER MARKETING TASKS CURRENTLY ACTIONED BY CHAMBER MEMBERS
These activities are excluded from the tender, and are for information only to show all marketing activities.
- Member Communications
- Individual welcome emails etc
- Mailchimp account for regular member emails
- Social Media – target is 5x posts a week on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Scheduling done through Buffer.
