Richard Gosler, the founder of Bournemouth-based web design and digital marketing agency Pixelhaus, has been elected to the prestigious role of Outreach Department Coordinator for Open Source Matters, Inc., the non-profit organization that supports the Joomla project. This demanding position will see Richard lead Joomla’s global marketing and communications efforts.
This week, Richard travels to Vienna, Austria, as a representative of Joomla, joining other major open-source Content Management Systems (CMSs) to discuss a unified and effective response to the European Union’s new Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). The CRA is a landmark piece of legislation that will introduce mandatory cybersecurity requirements for all products with digital elements sold within the EU.
