Head and Wheble Funeral Directors celebrated their 100th Anniversary as a Bournemouth Chamber member at hotel The Marsham Court in late June.

With over one hundred people attending, including National Funeral Directors Association dignitaries, the Master of Ceremonies was Robert Head, Vice President of BCTC.

Bournemouth Chamber President Nigel Hedges was in attendance celebrating Bournemouth & District Association of Funeral Directors being the Chamber’s longest standing Trade Association.

Mr Simon Head delivered the closing speech with humour but also paid tribute to the serious role Funeral Directors play in that final journey providing care, understanding, empathy and vital emotional support for us all of every generation.

One hundred years in business is a commendable achievement indeed.
