The Bournemouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce recently held its 110th Annual General Meeting, marking an exciting new chapter for the organisation.
Members voted in a new Board of Directors, reflecting a dynamic shift towards a younger, highly diverse, and forward-thinking leadership team that truly represents the evolving business community across Bournemouth, Poole, and Christchurch.
Nigel Hedges was re-elected as President for 2026/27 and announced his nominations for Vice Presidents, Robert Head and Christian Farah – both just 30 years old, highlighting a strong commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders.
Elected also , as the new Treasurer Mrs Sona Madan , a highly professionally experienced Accountant who worked for one of the “London Big Four.”
The evening paid tribute to Mr Bill Perkins, the retiring Treasurer and former President on multiple occasions, recognising his remarkable 25 years of dedicated service to the Chamber.
