Winton Traders Association thrived for many years in the last decade but as with many things, pressures of their own businesses and families meant the leaders weren't able to continue committing quite so much of their own personal time to that organisation.

Whilst it was thriving the Chamber contributed towards the annual Carnival which later helped fund the Winton Forum website.

Many traders in Winton, not least Sturton & Tappers continued to be members of the Chamber and it is hoped that with some help from their councillors and some Chamber/ Council Recession Funding we can move it forward once again.

In Autumn 2012 Bournemouth Borough Council awarded a grant of £15,000 to the Chamber to assist supporting Boscombe and Winton traders organisations.
